The app is your key to carsharing: Find, reserve, open and close your car - all via the app!
1. Download and install the MILES app.
2. Register free of charge with the starter rate ‘MILEShello5’.
3. Validate your driver's license and ID.
4. Choose a payment method.
5. Create PIN (your key to the vehicle) Ready! 😎
👉 Simply open the MILES app,
👉 Reserve a vehicle free of charge for 10 minutes,
👉 Open the vehicle with the app and drive off!
You can reserve your MILES for up to 24 hours - the first 10 minutes are free. Every additional minute costs 0.09€.
It's this simple:
1. Open the app and select your MILES
2. Click "reserve" directly below the "rent now" button.
3. Now the car is automatically reserved for you for 10min (free of charge).
☝️ You can extend your reservation at any point: Simply tap on the green "+" icon next to the current reservation time in the vehicle view, and extend your reservation. Please note that this will result in additional costs.
Start your ride on a whim- you choose the price range. 😎
1. Open the App and pick your desired vehicle: small car, estate car or van.
2. Reserve it or start the ride directly.
3. Brief all-round check of the vehicle.
4. Unlock the vehicle with the app.
5. Enter your 4-digit PIN.
6. Press the start/stop button* to start the engine (our vans use an ignition key). All set! ✌️
Taking a break? Just activate the parking mode:
1. Park your vehicle.
2. Get off the vehicle and press “parking mode” in the app. This is how you lock the vehicle without ending the rental.
3. Take a break! Your MILES will not be available to any other user during this time. 😎
The app also shows you the running parking minutes! ✌️
End your ride – you’ll know how much you’re paying. 🤓
1. Park on public parking spaces within the business area – no ticket necessary.
2. Press the start/stop button to stop the engine (use the ignition key for our vans).
3. Exit the car. Short all-round check: Are the windows and doors closed? Got all your belongings?
4. End the ride via the app. Done!
View the ride summary after ending your ride and get a detailed overview of the ride with all important information including travel costs. ✌️
When starting your ride, you automatically drive at the km rate. Daily rates can be added at any time - just in case you travel a little longer. 😎
How you choose your rate:
1. Click on the rate that is displayed on the screen.
2. Find your ideal rate by entering a duration and/or kilometres.
3. Select your daily rate and confirm your choice.
4. The rate will be applied directly on your current rental.
You've detected damages (bumps, scratches, dents etc.) on the vehicle? Please check the damage list in the app to see if the damage has already been reported. You can find the list on the vehicle view after clicking to start the rental.
How to report a new damage:
1. Click on the "Report Damage" button
2. Follow the instructions in the app and take a photo of the damage
3. Upload the photos to the app. Your message will be forwarded to us
4. Start your ride or book another MILES in your area if the vehicle no longer fit to drive.
